Our Bookstore
We—the BLFF—have a bookstore! Our bookstore is located just inside the library and to the right of the circulation desk. If you walk in and toward the circulation desk, simply veer a bit to the right and continue right on into our store.
The books in our store are circulated in and out on a regular basis so you will often find new books available. They are divided in a logical way—Mystery, Fiction, Non-fiction, Cookbooks, and so forth—so you should be able to readily find any books that you are looking for in a fairly quick time. You may also find books that you didn’t even know that you wanted….
The books, CDs, and DVDs are all examined, sorted, and cleaned by a volunteer prior to putting them on the shelves. Only books that are in good condition are placed on the shelves, so if you are looking for a gift, this might just be the perfect place to begin!

We are again accepting donations, with a limit of 1 bag or box per patron. Please bring your books to the library front desk and let them know you are donating to the Broomfield Library Friends Foundation. Thank you—we truly appreciate your help and generosity as we work toward a stronger library!

- Adult, children and young adult books, and textbooks in good condition, both hardback and paperback
- Cookbooks
- Magazines no older than 3 months
- CDs, DVDs and audio books
Unacceptable Donations
These are the items that we are not able to accept:
- Any book in poor condition (torn, dirty, stained, musty, or moldy)
- Non-fiction books older than 5 years (such as financial, medical, technical, or computer-related books)
- Reader’s Digest Condensed books
- Encyclopedia sets
- National Geographic magazines
- Cassettes and VHS tapes
- Records (LPs, 45s)
